Project Details:
In Fall 2004, I took a contract with a start-up called E-counters.com, a website selling custom stone counter tops online. I was hired to design a printed brochure to help their customers learn how to accurately measure their counter tops.
When the project was complete, I accepted an offer for a full-time position and worked for e-counters.com and its eventual parent company for more than 6 years. During that time, we designed and developed increasingly more powerful and user-friendly tools allowing users to quote and purchase their custom kitchen and bathroom countertops online.
In the time since I left the project, e-counters.com has become Countertop Valet and has ceased selling custom kitchen cabinet projects online.
